NEW EXPERIENCES NEAR AND FAR
Local visits and residential trips at St Nicholas' School play an important role in our curriculum, helping to consolidate the classroom-based learning with real life experiences.
Residential trips offer a unique, exciting opportunity to develop social and practical skills, and to spend time away from home with school friends, making lifetime friendships and memories.
School residential trips start in the Junior School with an overnight stay not too far from home, before extending to
week-long excursions. Our senior pupils benefit from travelling overseas for their residentials whilst also enjoying the opportunities of ski trips and a World Challenge adventure in Year 11.
During the school year all pupils from Nursery through to Seniors will have the opportunity to go on numerous local visits to a range of interesting places, as well as further afield to national art galleries, music concerts and theatre halls.

"A massive thank you to all the staff that spent the last week in France with the Year 7 and 8 girls.
Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and has been telling us all about the activities and the Château. What an amazing experience for her and an excellent opportunity to expand her independence and experience France in an authentic way.
So once again, many thanks for taking care of the girls and giving them a wonderful opportunity."
