Aimee, Izzy B, Izzy H, Lana and Zoe were all part of The Sixth Form College Farnborough Basketball team that won the AoC National Championships today, held at the University of Nottingham!

GCSE Spanish pupils enjoyed an unforgettable Spanish and Sports Tour to Barcelona over the Easter break, combining elite sporting experiences with immersive language learning and cultural exploration.

A group of our senior girls from Years 8–11 began their Easter break in exciting fashion, setting off for a few days in the beautiful city of Paris, where they experienced the culture, language and iconic sights of the French capital.

Just before the Easter break, a group of our Computer Science pupils enjoyed an inspiring visit to University College London, ranked 4th in the UK, for a special event organised in partnership with the GSA Go Bold programme.

Our Year 8 and Year 9 pupils achieved tremendous success at this year’s SATRO STEMFest, showcasing not only their enthusiasm but also their growing confidence and capability in STEM.

Yesterday morning our Year 5 girls hosted a very popular charity cake sale during breaktime, inspired by their studies of Islam and the Five Pillars — focusing particularly on Zakat, the pillar of charitable giving.

This afternoon, our Year 10 and 11 girls had the fantastic opportunity to watch a live performance of Stevenson’s classic gothic tale The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in our very own theatre.

We are delighted to celebrate the fantastic achievements of Year 6 pupils Evie, Laila and Verity, who have had an exceptional season representing Panthers Elite Netball Club.

Today was filled with reflection and nonstop talk about our Senior Production… and for good reason! Last Friday and Saturday night, our Senior girls lit up the stage with a high‑energy, show‑stopping performance of Footloose.

Our Nursery, Infant and Junior pupils enjoyed an egg-cellent Easter Treasure Hunt this morning, complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny, creative craft activities and fantastic support from our Year 11 helpers.

Year 5 pupils enjoyed a memorable and confidence‑building residential trip to Mill on the Brue in Somerset, where they took part in a wide range of outdoor challenges that developed teamwork, resilience and lasting friendships.

Today, our Year 3 pupils enjoyed a wonderful visit to All Saints Church in Crondall, a beautiful Grade I listed parish church with Norman origins, where they explored the church’s architecture and learned about its rich heritage.

Yesterday, St Nicholas’ School had the honour of welcoming Olympic cyclist Kelly Murphy for an exciting and inspiring visit, during which our Infant and Junior pupils took part in an energetic fitness circuit led by Kelly herself.

This week, our Nursery and Infant School welcomed their wonderful mothers and mother figures for a short assembly, followed by an afternoon of shared activities and a glimpse into why our pupils love St Nicholas’ so much.

A warm, supportive community is at the heart of St Nicholas’. With pupils learning side‑by‑side from Nursery through to Seniors, our school has become known for its family‑like atmosphere.

Today, we were delighted to welcome Year 2 pupils into the Junior School for our Year 3 Taster Event. The girls enjoyed a fun-filled timetable designed to showcase the breadth of our Junior School curriculum.

Year 1 had a fantastic visit to Marwell Zoo, where they explored the outdoors, observed a wide range of animals up close, and enjoyed a truly enriching and memorable learning experience.

Our Reception pupils’ imaginations were sent soaring last week after the mysterious arrival of a dragon egg… and the excitement only grew from there when they discovered that something truly extraordinary had escaped!

What a fantastic evening we had at our annual Parents and Teachers Quiz Night last Friday! The hall was filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and plenty of brain‑teasing challenges as our school community came together.
