Last week, Year 6 pupils Rebecca and Theodora organised a very successful charity cake sale in support of Christopher’s Shooting Stars Children’s Hospice.

As part of their science learning this week, Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating practical session focused on understanding how the heart supports the circulatory system through hands-on observation and exploration.

Our Infant School Problem Solving Club has been busy stretching young minds with a range of tricky games and challenges, encouraging creative thinking and teamwork among our pupils.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Toddler Group of the year! It was wonderful to welcome so many little explorers into the Nursery this morning for a fun-filled session.

Inspired by our Carol Service last term, this year’s Winter Lights theme invited our Year 9 girls to experiment with lighting and aperture to bring their creative ideas to life through photography.

It was a joy to welcome all our pupils back today. The school was full of energy, with happy faces, friends reunited, and plenty of excitement as everyone enjoyed the flurry of snow.

As we welcome the New Year, we look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday 6th January, ready to embrace an exciting year filled with learning, opportunities, new adventures, and achievements.

As we approach the end of another remarkable year, we would like to take a moment to thank our incredible school community—pupils, families, alumni, and staff—for being such an important part of our journey.

The final Forest School session of the term celebrated Christmas, with Nursery, Infant, and Junior pupils working together and enjoying a variety of seasonal outdoor activities.

On the first day of the Christmas holidays, a group of our Junior and Senior School string musicians visited Hill House Nursing Home to perform a medley of festive music, continuing our much-loved annual tradition.

Last week, Junior and Senior School pupils took to the floor to present a special gymnastics-only performance, showcasing a wide range of impressive skills with confidence, enthusiasm, and commitment.

We are delighted to congratulate Year 11 Senior School pupil Gemma H-B, who has been named in the Fulham FC squad for today’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup match against AFC Bournemouth.

Our school community enjoyed a beautiful Service of Lessons and Carols led by our Senior School, featuring performances from our fantastic orchestras, choirs, and swing band.

Last week, our Junior Chamber Choir visited Keble Court Retirement Home to share a festive programme of Christmas carols. Led beautifully by Voice Teacher, Mrs Busby, the pupils performed a wonderful mix of favourites.

Year 2 have been working incredibly hard this term and their efforts were rewarded when they successfully filled their class reward jar with stars. To celebrate, the pupils enjoyed a treat they had all voted for!

Year 8 pupil Chloe W has written her first novel, Fallen Star, inspired by fantasy stories, animal documentaries, and Warrior Cats. She is already working on the sequel, with copies of her debut available in the school library.

The school came together to celebrate St Nicholas’ Day with our beloved traditions, from enjoying Hoffy Biscuits to taking part in creative fundraising stalls led by our Senior School pupils.

This morning, our Nursery and Infant School pupils charmed families and staff alike as they took to the Pritchard Hall stage for their Christmas performance of The Hoity Toity Angel!

The whole school celebrated Christmas Jumper Day in support of Save the Children, enjoying festive band performances and a full Christmas dinner served by Headmistress Dr Wright.

Year 5 pupil Izzy has had an outstanding week, achieving her final solo starter grade in dance to become an Inter, while also delivering strong performances for her athletics club in both sports hall and cross-country events.
